Easter 2013

Dear Boys,
Happy Easter!
We dyed eggs in the days leading up to Easter...

And put them out for the Easter Bunny to hide...

Then when you came downstairs in the morning, the eggs were gone and the baskets were filled with treats...

You all got a Ukrainian Easter egg and lots of pretty little candies...

In his haste, the Easter Bunny always spills the jelly beans and drops candy on the stairs...

James got a doll inside a big paper egg...

And there were pussywillows and daffodils and pansies and butterfly stickers...

The wheat grass was just long enough this year, I kept forgetting to plant it.  It only had a week to grow, but I was satisfied with it...

It's been fun being able to hunt eggs outside, something we probably won't be able to do in MN.  Here's James...

He only collected two eggs and then spent the rest of the time smashing them together.  This is the best picture of Danny I could get, he was running the whole time...

Easter is so pretty.

I took more pictures of eggs than anything else and forgot my plan to take a family portrait.  Oh well, here's some more egg pictures...

We had friends over for dinner and set up a string maze in the back yard that proved to be way more difficult than I had anticipated.

There was a rolled up dollar at the end of each string, which the kids thought was pretty exciting.

Moe...

Love,
Mom.
