What it's like...

A lot of people ask me "What's it like having all those boys around?"
Well...
There's a lot of science...

And climbing...

And building...

And "Eeew, gross.  Go wash your hands"...

There's absolutely no playing with this adorable kitchen (note doll stuffed in oven.)...

But there are a lot of rocks and Legos...

If you have boys, your sweet wooden dolly cradle might turn into a weapons container...

But there will be dress-up play...

You might have to serve lunch in the "Lego ROOM"...

But it doesn't mean you have to have a bunch of "boy themed stuff" like macho shirts with footballs or monster trucks...

 There can be cute overalls!

And thrifted hand-made sweaters!

 You don't have to buy garish "boy themed" furniture...

 (ugly bedding from The Company Store...  It's on sale!)
I think it's important to have a beautiful peaceful setting for boys too...

There can also be knitting, Joe knit this at school...

And that's a small slice of what it's like at our house.  We also have two nerf guns, but I've decided I don't mind, as long as they only shoot Chris.
